I am Dawn, Pam's friend. I brought a netbook to the hospital, hoping that Pam could get online herself, she's not yet well enough. Yesterday afternoon, Pam was rushed to the hospital doubled over in pain. After a few hours of tests, they discovered that her appendix had ruptured requiring emergency surgery. The surgery went well, but a ruptured appendix is a nasty thing that comes with a high risk of infection. As is expected, they're having a hard time managing her pain ...
