Family Services forcing me and spouse to quit Methadone Empty
PostSubject: Family Services forcing me and spouse to quit Methadone   Family Services forcing me and spouse to quit Methadone EmptyFri Aug 09, 2013 11:46 am

This just doesn't seem right. My Fiance and I met 2 years ago at our clinic. She has been going there 2 years, me...7 years. She has a 8 year old daughter and I have an 8 year old boy. She has never been in trouble with Family Services nor had I. 3 months ago she had a problem with her sister and Jess screwed up and got high on Meth for the 1st time in 8 years. Her sister called DFS and they took her daughter away from her and placed her in her sisters care. Its been a fight ever since to get her back. They did hair tests on Both of us. Mine was clean except for Methadone. Hers was dirty for Meth and Methadone. They wanted her to complete Rehab and get clean. She did the rehab and hasn't been dirty since. Should be getting close to getting Molly home right????

Well, yesterday there was a meeting and now they want Jessica to get clean from methadone before Molly can come home. NOT ONLY that, but I also have to quit Methadone as well before Molly can come home.

Anyone have any advice? My Clinic says they have seen this before and in fact it is illegal and a violation of Civil Rights. (Americans with Disabilities Act, and Rehabilitation Act).

We are just sick to our stomachs thinking about how we are being bullied into quitting Methadone which has been a huge help for both of us.
