most clinics around here are private pay. Does anyone know of a clinic that will take Medicaid or a sliding scale fee, for someone who lives in Virginia Beach. I tried nor folk but they said I had to live in Norfolk. help. I lost my job and my clinic went up to 14 dollars a day

I am not sure about the medicaid but there are a couple of clinics that you may be able to check out and see what they say.

I called the last one. And was able to get through. The person that I spoke to in central intake said they do take medicaid but it would depend on what type of medicaid you have. I am not familiar with different types of medicaid to be honest.
The first number that I called was the hotline who then gave me the central intake number. (757) 393-5357- I also asked the best time to call and they said anytime between 8 and 5. It is 2:00 my time (est) so maybe you can try around the same time.
It is usually easier to get through to some of these places during non dosing hours.
