Hello all I currently live in tennessee and MMT treatment here is terrible.. I've been having issues with my dose holding me I've had to do quite a few peak and troughs just to get to my dose @ the moment 150, but I just currently did another peak and trough to go to 160, but last time I took a peak and trough my levels were really low they were like 220/460 or something like that. We currently just got a new doc a few months ago and that's when all my problems started he told the nurses to tell me that since I'm on the highest dose @ my clinic that I don't need an increase even though my levels are low, but I finally talked to the nurse practioner and she arranged for me to take another one so atleast she's trying to help me a little. The thing is the doctor hasn't even seen me and I've been requesting to see him for 3 months and he always tells the nurses what to tell me because he's so busy is what they say which is complete BS
He's completely new to MMT and never dealt with it before so I guess that explains why he has no knowledge about MMT treatment. I'm the best patient you'll ever meet, but since this new doc has come things have went completely downhill. We've lost two of our head nurses, head counselor, and another worker and they all quit the same week this new doc.come in because of the way he was trying to run things which are completely wrong. It shows that he's not good because of us loosing all our good staff because of him. Point is I'm thinking about transferring clinics and the one.I'm thinking about transferring to is out of state and it's in cape girardeau Missouri, and that means I'll be driving 3 hours and twenty minutes one way, so I'll have to drive 7 hours each trip there and back total which I don't mind because tennessees laws are going to make me relapse like they have a lot of other people if I don't get out of here. Anyways I was just wanting to know if anyone on here attends a clinic in missouri and if so do they have dose caps like tennessee?? I called and talked to the clinic in Missouri and the nurse give me some great info on it and if everything holds to be true then this clinic will be great for me. I've spoke with alot of other clinics and the "grass really is greener on the other side lol"

Well I found out some good news Thursday when I picked up my carryouts.. I found out the new doc that would never see me didn't want increase anybody got fired for pretty much mistreating patients and not seeing them like how he needed to see me. I'm glad he got fired because I had been trying to see him for four months and he would just have the nurses tell me he was busy, or that I didn't need an increase because I was on the highest dose @ my clinic. Anyways I got my peak and trough results back and they were really low 233/555 and my old doc is coming back to replace him temporarily so I'll get my increases noe its just I'll have to wait because they have to send my peak and trough results to the state for them to review and approve me for a ten mg increase each time I need one, and hopefully I'll be able to get what I need off this one with my levels being so low.. Anyways things are starting to look a little better.. If I have any issues anymore at least I know one thing and that's that I need a higher dose for sure with how low my peak and trough levels are. I have a plan B if things don't work out here in tennessee I'll transfer to Missouri a clinic in cape girardeau.. Any state is better than tennessee from the stats I've seen tennessee and Ohio are the two worst states for MMT treatment because it's hard to get doses over 100mgs, and if u get 120 u had to pull teeth so to speak and anything over 120 here in tennessee is pretty much unheard of. Anyways I haven't heard from anyone on here since I started this post days earlier..
