Hello all I currently live in tennessee and MMT treatment here is terrible.. I've been having issues with my dose holding me I've had to do quite a few peak and troughs just to get to my dose @ the moment 150, but I just currently did another peak and trough to go to 160, but last time I took a peak and trough my levels were really low they were like 220/460 or something like that. We currently just got a new doc a few months ago and that's when all my problems started he told the nurses to tell me that since I'm on the highest dose @ my clinic that I don't need an increase even though my levels are low, but I finally talked to the nurse practioner and she arranged for me to take another one so atleast she's trying to help me a little. The thing is the doctor hasn't even seen me and I've been requesting to see him for 3 months and he always tells the nurses what to tell me because he's so busy is what they say which is complete BS
He's completely new to MMT and never dealt with it before so I guess that explains why he has no knowledge about MMT treatment. I'm the best patient you'll ever meet, but since this new doc has come things have went completely downhill. We've lost two of our head nurses, head counselor, and another worker and they all quit the same week this new doc.come in because of the way he was trying to run things which are completely wrong. It shows that he's not good because of us loosing all our good staff because of him. Point is I'm thinking about transferring clinics and the one.I'm thinking about transferring to is out of state and it's in cape girardeau Missouri, and that means I'll be driving 3 hours and twenty minutes one way, so I'll have to drive 7 hours each trip there and back total which I don't mind because tennessees laws are going to make me relapse like they have a lot of other people if I don't get out of here. Anyways I was just wanting to know if anyone on here attends a clinic in missouri and if so do they have dose caps like tennessee?? I called and talked to the clinic in Missouri and the nurse give me some great info on it and if everything holds to be true then this clinic will be great for me. I've spoke with alot of other clinics and the "grass really is greener on the other side lol"
