Hello there again! I wanted to publicly welcome you to the group to let others know you are our newest member. I have enjoyed talking to you on the site and I hope you will be a regular user of the forum.

We need members and MMT clients who will speak out. You said you would like to be a motivational speaker about methadone and what it has done for you and I think that is a great thing to do.

People need to put a face to the methadone client and see that we are normal, everyday people and not some crazed lunatic running around robbing and stealing and causing mayhem........course, when we don't have the methadone to stabilize us we kinda are lol! But you get my point.

The town I live in is a military town and they look down on MMT and any other kind of medical assisted treatment and they would just freak out if they knew I was a methadone pt.

Anyway, enough about me....I hope you will share more of your story with us and that we will see you as a regular on the forum. You will find this is a great group of people and the main thing is to know that we are here for you as well. It is never easy and even the most stable patient can have a bad day and need someone and that is what we are here for.

Take care and we will see you around the forum!
