Hello,
My name is Dee, I am one of the moderators here at "A Flicker of Light In The Dark".
I have been in recovery for going on 7 years.
Before I started taking medication for my addiction my life was an up and down rollar coaster ride. Many times I tried so hard to do it my way. I tried to stop cold turkey, only to use again after a short time. I tried going into residential treatment 3 different times but each time the horrible cravings for drugs would grab me again and I would be back out looking for that warmth and energy that I needed so badly.
That was a long time ago. Now I take my medication daily, I no longer have any cravings and my life is finally starting to become my own.

Please come and jon us, share your concerns and voice your opinions. We all have a story to tell. What is yours?
I look forward to meeting all of you.
Yours in Recovery,
Dee
