A little about myself

Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Michelle im from a small town about 20 minutes outside Rome, Ga. At the current time I am trying to make an appointment to re-enter the Methadone Program in Rome. It took me a few days to make the decision to return, I finally called this morning but only to find out that I was 20 minutes late calling.. They close at 11:00!! The last time I was using that clinic they closed for like an hour around 11 or 12 and then opened back up for an hour after lunch. I guess hours have changed. That really kicked me hard because that means that I will have to wait till next week. To others a week is not really a long time, but in my present situation that seems like a lifetime !! I needed to go YESTERDAY!! I went to the Cartersville Clinic for about 5-6 yrs. but thats been a few years ago. I hope everything works out and I can go as soon as possible. Im sure lots of things have changed now that I will find out about. I hope to meet people with things in common with myself, and I love the fact that theres really other people out there that are probably so much like ME !

Hey, great to meet you! I am new to the forum also and just wanted to say hang in there. Yes, Yes, a week is forever away when you are waiting to dose!!! It is good to see you and have you posting here on the forum. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to let us know. RuthAnn is a wonderful lady and will do what ever she can to help you find the answers you are looking for.
I'm sure that you already know this but, keep in mind when starting a new clinic it is a good idea to read through the handbook given to you thoroughly, if you have any questions or concerns ask them about it.
A lot of times something simple can turn into something major because of an over looked rule at the clinic.
Let us know how it goes for you once you get started. Please keep posting, it will help you to pass the time more quickly.

It was so nice to get to talk to you last night and get to know you a little bit. I am so glad you found our site and the forum.
