Yesterday was just an amazing day. I feel blessed to have the friends and family that I have.
Many years ago I lost contact with a girl that I grew up with. I haven't seen her since we were both around 14. Back growing up we were inseparable. In fact my mom wanted to adopt her when her mom passed away from cancer but an Uncle stepped in and took her in with him. Not long after that he moved her many miles away from us. I lost contact with her.
I found out last year that she had been looking for me all these years and finally found me on facebook. Yesterday while sitting outside a delivery truck pulled up and had flowers for me. THe flowers had been ordered by my dear childhood friend.
I was so touched that she would go through the trouble of sending me flowers from Arkansas to Vermont, I couldn't help it but I cried. They were tears of joy. I hope to be able to visit with my friend one day.
I am sorry as I didn't mean to ramble on like that, I wanted to share my happiness with you guys. With so much that goes on in all of our lives and we are all so busy that we don't often have the time to sit down and just visit.
I hope everyone is doing well.
Please stop by and give RuthAnn a holler. She has worked very hard to make this forum what it is today. When she started with our organization we had so few members but now thanks to her hard work and word of mouth we are now at 193 members. Yeah RuthAnn!!

I didn't think you were rambling at all and that is a great story! It is always nice to get in touch with old friends like that, especially if you were really close at one time.
