Hey guys. I am new to the site, and I just wanted to say hello.

I have been on Methadone for more than 5 years. I take it for my severe RA, and for addiction to pain pills.

I have no history of alcohol. I do have a history of cocaine use.

I have 3 wonderful young kids, an estranged wife, and a 15 year old chow-chow.

My wife is still using, so I can't be around her. It took me 6 years to finally quit using. My sobriety date is 8/11/09.

So, hello everyone!

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum. My name is Dee and I am one of the moderators of this forum. I usually work on our Suboxone Forum our main moderator of this forum is RuthAnn but has been having some problems with her computer so I have been doing what I can to help out over here.
It is great to have you here with us.

Feel free to look around the forum and read the postings of the other members and comment when you see something that interests you.
Congratulations on your recovery! One year next month is nothing to sneeze at.
I know it must be hard to realize that you can't be around your wife while she is still using. Making the decision to move on had to have been a hard one.
I am looking forward to hearing more from you.
Have a safe and happy 4th!
