WELCOME rockcreek ~ andromeda ~ rclark231 ~ ancoulter & l******rising

Hello everyone! I have a group of new members I wanted to introduce to everyone.

We have rockcreek from Indiana who says they have been in recovery for over 21 years. This is someone we can all probably learn a thing or two from since they have been in recovery so long. It's always nice to have someone who has "been there and done that" already and can help the rest of us when we get to that point in our recovery.

There is also andromeda from Lynnwood, WA and rclark231 from New Haven, CT. They didn't give any other info about themselves, but maybe in time we can find out a little bit more about them when they feel comfortable sharing a bit about themselves with us. Until then, you guys just make them feel welcome and let them know we are glad to have them join our little group.....

Then we have ancoulter from Morgantown WV. She says she is a methadone advocate and is a patient specialist who also helps spread awareness and information about methadone treatment. She is another member we can probably learn quit a few things from and we are so glad to have you as part of our group as well.

Then we have l******rising. That is all the info they shared with us about themselves, so again, maybe in time we will get to know them a little bit better.

To the new members, I want to personally welcome all of you to the forum. My name is RuthAnn (aka lilgirllost) and I have been on methadone for over 11 yrs now. It has been a struggle sometimes but like the rest of us, I just want to live my life and be happy without the constant struggle of addiction. That is what prompted me to join this group and to start working with Medical Assisted Treatment of America Inc. That and to help spread the word about methadone as a valid and positive method of opiate addiction treatment. We strive to change the public opinion about methadone treatment and just who a methadone patient is in this day and age.

I hope that all of you will feel welcome here and will soon share a bit about yourselves with us under the "introduce yourself" topic. Until then, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to let us know. If you wish to speak to someone privately you can private message me or email me. We are also available by phone if you wish to speak to someone in person. ALL info is kept confidential so you don't have worry about something getting out that you didn't want to get out.
