I’m Grateful

I’m alive and free, I’m grateful
Closer to who I want to be I’m grateful

I sleep on my own at night, I'm grateful
Surrendered and don’t have to fight, I'm grateful

I'm able to love and feel, I'm grateful
I no longer have to steal, I'm grateful

I don’t have to go to jail, I'm grateful
Life’s no longer a living hell, I'm grateful

I don’t have to remember my lies, I'm grateful
Don’t have to hustle to pay for my highs, I'm grateful

I don’t wake up sick, I'm grateful
I have nothing to kick, I'm grateful

For my Higher Power above, I'm grateful
For having his grace and love, I'm grateful
